acrobat reader doc won't print

Hello,
A user sent a form to be signed to a user in our lab with OSX. It was sent
via email, a pdf file. You can open it in acrobat and under the file
information for security it says it 'can' be printed, but when you try and
print, you get the error "this file cannot be printed". Anyone found this
problem before? I tried acrobat reader - 5 and 6, both give the same problem.

However, transfering the same file to a PC, and it will print fine without
difficulty.
