RE: OS 10.2.8: Can't Empty Trash

Repairing permissions in OS X using Disk Utility fixes more
weird behaviors than you can imagine. I recommend doing
it after any software installation. I've been toying with the
idea of setting up a cron job to do it once a week for good
measure.
