Re: can't open cd-rom drive to boot from cd

Hello Anthony,

Right, holding down the C key doesn't work -- no change in boot-up process,
no dialogue box, nothing.

I suspect that I already work in single user mode, but if not, how do I get
there? (Boot-up doesn't get past "Waiting for application services".)
