Mac OS X 10.3 Panther: launch celebration at Emeryville Apple store

   Our Apple systems engineer, Wyn Davies, sent us the following announcement:

     Come to the Emeryville Apple Store (5664 Bay St) this
     Friday evening, 10/24 to celebrate the launch of Panther,
     Apple's newest version of Mac OS X (10.3). The store will
     be closing at 7:30 pm, then opening again at 8:00 pm for
     the celebration. There will be giveaways and demonstrations
     of Panther and other festivities until midnight on Friday.

   Wyn is also planning to offer a more in-depth Panther presentation
and demo on campus, most likely within the next two weeks. More info
