Epson Scanners

Hi,

Can anybody out there recommend a good Epson scanner? It looks
like HP isn't planning on making a driver for Jaguar or beyond for
the scanner I currently have, which isn't even that old.

I almost laughed when the automated message said it would cost
$25 for the tech call.
