Eudora address book causing crashes

Hi MAGNet-

Closing Eudora's address book (v5.1.1r) causes the application to
crash. Well, I should say, "Trying to close" because when I
re-launch Eudora the address book is still open. This is happening on
two different TiBooks, one of which (at least) is running OS 10.2.6.
Has anyone run into this problem?
