Eudora Signature not appearing

Eudora 5.1 on a Mac G4 OS9.2.2
I have a user whose signature (he's using Standard) is not appearing
when sending mail. We've checked all the settings.
When composing mail, his standard signature appears at the bottom of
the message however, when I receive mail from him, the signature does
not come through. Any ideas?
