The UC System is in the early stages of developing a proposal with
Red Hat for licensing of Red Hat Enterprise Linux WS and other
enterprise products. UC has not received a definite proposal from
Red Hat as of today, but we may have one soon. So I want to begin a
discussion of Red Hat Linux needs at Berkeley. This discussion will
occur on the BITS Forum mailing list. I will send a kick-off message
on this topic to the BITS Forum list tomorrow. If you are interested
in this topic, please sign up for the BITS Forum mailing list. To do
