G4 OSX crash

Hello,

I recently upgraded my home computer to OSX and Jaguar. Three times,
while in Safari, the screen turned gray and a box appeared telling me
manually restart the computer. After the third restart the G4 would
reset, show the wallpaper and the dock would pop-up, then it would
clear and start over with the wallpaper and dock. Can anybody help
me or point me in the right direction, this is a major problem as I
cannot use the computer in any form.
