Folks,
If you have a "Mirrored Dual-Door" PowerMac G4, introduced in August 2002,
you may be eligible for a free power supply exchange (plus $19.95 for
shipping and handling). The purpose for the power supply exchange is to
lessen the noise that the workstations produce.
A post at macintouch.com reminds us that the end of the exchange program is
today, June 30, 2003 (info copied below).

Chris Moscatiello pointed out the looming deadline for free power supply
replacements to quiet Apple's "wind-tunnel"/MDD Power Mac G4 models:
The deadline for the free replacement of the noisy fan/power supply in the
early G4 MDD towers is this Monday, June 30. This issue created such a huge
stink, and it's quite remarkable that they took it seriously enough to go
this far towards our satisfaction - I'd hate to see anybody eligible miss
the deadline...
