Hello,
As the Authorized Apple Repair Center for the UC Berkeley Campus, we have called Apple with regards to "wobbly" 12" PowerBooks. At this time, there is not a fix for the problem. Apple is asking All Authorized Apple Repair Centers NOT to order parts or send the units in for repair.
At this time, I recommend that you contact me if your 12" PowerBook is exhibiting the "wobble." Please provide me with your name, phone number, email address, serial number and date of purchase. As soon as I receive any information as to a fix, I would be more than happy to contact you with pertinent information.
