        Thanks for the quick replies...

        Well, I disconnected the extra usb hub and connected the
printer directly to the computer. It worked. I reconnected
everything like it was originally, and... it still worked. Rebooted
the computer, leaving the dymo and everything else connected to the
hub, and it still works.

        Weird.
