Is anyone else on this list successfully using TSM 4.2.1 for network
backups to UCBackup?
I'm seeing a variety of problems with TSM running in Classic (9.2)
environment under Mac OS 10.1.
When I first started to use TSM, it seemed to hang with a network
connection problem.
But now I'm also seeing a problem where TSM posts an alert "Memory Is
Low". If I try to make it continue, it quits with "Compress/Expand:
Out of Memory". This is on a G4 with lots of real memory.
This brings up a related question. One of the advantages of OS X is
that you don't have to set application memory allocations.
But for Classic apps, would it be a good idea to boot from OS9 and
increase the memory allocation for each app? Does this interact with
the OS9 Memory CP (the Virtual Memory setting)?
Thanks,
Kalle
