We've been corresponding with Glenn. He just reported that
removing all three of the Fetch-related preferences files, "Fetch
Cache," "Fetch Preferences", and "Fetch Shortcuts", from the active
Preferences folder, resolved this problem.
This implies that the problem might possibly have resulted from
format corruption of one or more of these preferences files.
Just to clarify, we have not yet seen any reports of problems when
using Fetch 4.0 with Mac OS 9.2.x, either on the Fetch Softworks Web
site (including its support forum), or in reader or special reports
on this new version of the Mac OS in the MacInTouch or MacFixIt Web
sites ...
