Hello, Mac List.

I used to work at UCB and now I am working for SBC Communications. I hope
this email can get through the list and I hope I can get some answers from
the list. Based on my experience, UCB has large Mac users and I believe
that the better support the ADSL industry can provide will benefit people in
UCB comminity. I sent an email to Mac support in Apple and I did not get
positive response. I hope people on this forum can help.

SBC are working on ways to better server our potential ADSL customers who
have Apple Computers. We believe that we need to reach out to our Mac
customers and provide them
the better ADSL service options.

In order to do so, we have to get some help from Apple regarding to the
history of your products. If you can find someone in the company who
can provide me answers to the me the following questions, that would
be great.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

*When did Apple stop selling anything below a Power PC?
*Is there a cut off for the different OS on the platforms?
For example - OS 9.0 will not run on anything below Power PC
*Does Open Transport 1.2 to 2.6 come packaged with the Mac OS? If so
which OS? If not, would we provide?
*All G3, G4, iMac come with ethernet port standard, do any previous
models of Power PC?
