We have an Imac (233 MHz ) that seems to have a virus that causes
quick saves of Word files to take an excessive amount of time to save
(5-10 seconds for a 1-2 page Word file). These are text only files that
normally save instantly on the G3 platform.

I experimented with files from another Mac (G3 Biege 266 MHz). The file
would save a change instantly on the G3 but would take more than
5 seconds on the Imac. The strange part was that if I copied that
same file back to the G3 it would then take 5-10 seconds to save.

Has anyone encountered a Mac Virus or Worm with these symptoms?

Thanks,
