A reminder: our new campus Apple representatives, Dave Brounstein
and Wyn Davies, will present and demonstrate the Public Beta of
Apple's next generation operating system, Mac OS X, and answer
questions about this new OS *next Tuesday*:

         Date: Tuesday, December 5, 2000
Time: 10:00 am to 12:00 noon
      Location: 60 Barrows Hall

Dave and Wyn will be accompanied by an Apple Consulting Engineer,
John Tucker. We are told that John has considerable experience with
Mac OS X's Mach/BSD Unix-based core, and may generally be able to
field a wide range of technical questions about Apple's new OS.

We encourage you to come to this meeting and bring all the
questions you've been waiting to ask about Mac OS X!

Refreshments (coffee and cookies or similar) will be provided.

    Aron Roberts
    Workstation Software Support Group

P.S. The original announcement incorrectly listed the meeting date as
    *Monday*, December 5, 2000.
