At one point there was an option on AppleShare servers--when you clicked
on "Make all enclosed folders like this one", it would pop up a dialog
box asking you whether you wanted "Explicit" (just this one time) or
"Inherit" (for all eternity). Inherit is normally what you want.
I did notice that that dialog box no longer seems to pop up; I'm not
sure whether the functionality has been moved elsewhere, or just didn't
make it into AppleShare IP.
