Hi Folks,
I need help with our first Linux/MacOS user...I know that we can
partition this powerbook (12GB) to run both OSs, but for the life of
me I'm awfully confused on how to go about it.
Once we have the partitioning question settled, I'll finish the Mac
software installations (we're allocating 6GB to that partition),
while a Linux guru (currently on vacation) will help this user to set
up the Linux side.
The user is now purchasing LinuxPPC from that website, with the
manual (which, as total novices, we obviously need!).
I can find lots of stuff to read, but it all seems to give details on
what to do AFTER the partitioning phase. We've tried a number of
partition schemes now, but they don't look right.
Where can I get support with this issue? Is there anyone who'd be
willing to direct us through this initial process? (We'll even bring
the powerbook with us to your office, if need be.)
Many thanks for any assistance,
- Marilyn
