CalAgenda is the name of the electronic calendar community on the UC Berkeley campus. The software that is used on the client computer is called Oracle Calendar (formerly CorporateTime).
CalAgenda users can download the Oracle Calendar software from the UC Berkeley CalAgenda web site.
The CalAgenda team has a web page describing the Administrator & Technical Support Roles for the CalAgenda community here on the UC Berkeley campus. There are essentially three different roles:
When a user needs to be removed, the name and address would generally be adequate. Please note that changing the name of a user may result in the combination of deleting the old account, then creating a new account.
Departments can now arrange to have a CorporateTime resource calendar, such as a conference room, published on the Web, so that everyone can view the calendar. (See an example of a Meeting and Resource Calendar.) Meeting information will be updated nightly from the CalAgenda database to the Web. If you have a resource calendar that you would like to be published, send the following information to CalAgenda-Admin@Berkeley.EDU
Oracle Calendar does not automatically sync well with most smart phones; you can purchase NotifyLink to enable syncing of calendar events to your iPhone or other mobile device.
